Personal Fitness Goals

Each and every individual has different goals in mind for their fitness journey. It is important that we set these goals as an easy step-by-step process of short-term attainable goals. These short term goals should compound and help you achieve your long term goals. Small victories win big in the end.

However, it is also important to understand that fitness is not some journey from A to B. It is a lifestyle in itself. You should be able to stick to these “short-term goals” and constantly change them for your new goals.

With that, I would like to share some of my own personal fitness goals—long term and short term.

Short Term Goals:

  • Walk for at least 30 minutes everyday
  • Jog for at least 20 minutes every other day
  • Drink 8 or more cups of water a day
  • Cut the intake of soda and other sugary drinks
  • Cut the intake of junk foods

Long Term Goals

  • Become leaner and healthier
  • Increase my cardiovascular capabilities and flexibility
  • Finish a 5k or 10k run
